At Hans Egstorf, we take great care to pack and ship your Stroopwafels so they arrive fresh, intact and on time. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about our shipping process.
Processing Time
All orders are baked and packed with care by our team. We dispatch orders within 1–2 business days.During busy periods (such as holidays), processing times may be slightly longer. We recommend ordering early to avoid delays.
Shipping Methods
We ship worldwide using:
- PostNL – standard delivery
- DHL Express – fast international delivery (you can select this at checkout)
Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on your country and the shipping method chosen:
- Netherlands: 1–3 business days (PostNL)
- Europe: ± 2–7 business days (PostNL)
- Worldwide: usually 1–4 business days (DHL Express), depending on destination
- Standard international shipping times vary by region
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on:
- your location,
- the carrier (PostNL or DHL Express), and
- the weight of your order.
The exact shipping fee is automatically calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Freshness During Shipping
Our Stroopwafels have a long best-before date (±3 months) and are packaged to stay fresh and crunchy during international transport — even to the USA. Every order includes a “how to store” leaflet to help you keep them fresh after arrival.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link to follow your package’s journey.
Problems With Your Delivery
If something is wrong with your order — for example a damaged or missing item — please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@hansegstorf.com. Include your order number, a short description, and a photo so we can assist you quickly.
Customs & Duties (International Orders)
For shipments outside the EU, local customs duties or taxes may apply.
United States
For orders shipped to the United States, applicable duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. No additional charges will be due upon delivery.
All other countries
For shipments outside the EU (excluding the United States), local customs duties or taxes may apply. These charges are determined by local authorities and are payable by the recipient upon delivery.
